The major part of your training will take place at our Wartberg\/Aist site. Apart from that, you will be spending about 20% of your training time at a vocational school in Linz (<em>Berufsschule Linz 5<\/em>). The entire apprenticeship will take 3.5 years.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The main module of the apprenticeship for electronics technicians is \u201capplied electronics\u201d. In this module, you will learn things like:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the setting up and putting into service of analog and digital circuits, control units, devices, systems, and test devices<\/li>\n<li>the manufacturing, testing, and repairing of electric, electronic and microtechnical components and modules for devices, machines, and systems<\/li>\n<li>the manufacturing, assembling, mounting, testing, and repairing of circuit boards and printed circuit boards<\/li>\n<li>the assembling, testing and repairing of systems for measuring, open-loop control, closed-loop control, and signaling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We want you to experience the fascination of your job first-hand as soon as possible.
